Ignite Your Child’s Imagination and Movement this Summer!
Looking for a summer experience that feeds both the mind and the body? Welcome to the Summer Art & Ski Academy—a premier boutique camp in Schaumburg designed for young creators and explorers (Ages 7+). Starting June 1st, we invite your child to step away from screens and enter a world of vibrant colors, fascinating science, and cool indoor mountain adventures.
We proudly serve families in Schaumburg, IL and nearby communities including
Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Arlington Heights, and Elk Grove Village.

Where Fine Arts Meet the Slopes
At our Schaumburg studio, we believe that a balanced child is a happy child.
Our unique curriculum rotates students between our professional art gallery
and our high-tech indoor ski slopes.
A Typical Morning or Afternoon at the Academy
Our 4-hour daily program (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM) is structured to keep inspiration high and boredom at zero:
- Guided Fine Arts (Major Focus): Students explore different mediums, from acrylics to sketching, mastering a new artistic technique every day.
- The Alpine Break (30 mins daily): Each child receives a personalized 1-on-1 indoor ski session. It’s the perfect way to build coordination, balance, and core strength while taking a “cool” break from the canvas.
- Science & Storytelling: While painting, students listen to captivating scientific journeys from 365forKids. They’ll travel through the cosmos and dive into the deep ocean, all while holding a paintbrush.
The Benefits:
More Than Just a Camp
We focus on the holistic development of every student. Over the course of 5 days, your child will:
- Build an Art Portfolio: Take home 5 completed masterpieces and new technical skills in painting.
- Gain Physical Confidence: Develop the “muscle memory” of a skier. Our 30-minute sessions are equivalent to a full morning on a real mountain!
- Spark Scientific Curiosity: Return home with “Did you know?” facts about space, nature, and the human body.
- Socialize in a Boutique Setting: We keep our groups small to ensure a high-quality, friendly, and safe environment.

Summer Academy FAQ
Q: My child has never painted (or skied) before. Is that okay?
A: Absolutely! We specialize in beginners. Our art mentors and ski instructors tailor the experience to each child’s individual pace.
Q: Is the skiing safe for children?
A: Our indoor infinite slopes are much safer than traditional mountains. We have 1-on-1 coaching, handrails, and adjustable speeds, making it the ideal environment for kids to learn balance and safety.
Q: Can I sign up for multiple weeks?
A: Yes! Each week features different art projects and new scientific stories, so many of our students choose to join us for multiple sessions to continue their progress.
Q: What should my child wear? A: Comfortable clothes that can get a bit of paint on them, and a pair of long socks for the ski boots!
